Our Chairmen – the Mayor of H&F

A woman is seated and speaking into a microphone during an event. She has short, reddish-brown hair and wears large, red-framed glasses. She is dressed in a pale beige blazer over a bright yellow floral dress. She is holding the microphone in one hand. A name badge clipped to her dress reads: “Councillor Sharon Holder – Chair, Action on Disability.”

We are delighted to announce that our Chair, Sharon Holder, has been elected as the new Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham!

Sharon was officially appointed last week and brings with her a wealth of experience as a committed community leader and disability champion.

Through her work with our charity, she has consistently advocated for inclusion, accessibility, and equal rights – values she will continue to promote in her mayoral role.

We are incredibly proud of Sharon and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make as Mayor over the coming year.
